How does it work?
1) Hardware + data
- IVSE iwitness MDVR (Mobile Digital Video Recorder) + camera system is installed within the vehicle and captures sights and sounds inside and outside the vehicle.
- Exceptional forces such as hard braking, swerving, collision, etc. are also recorded onto the MDVR and saved as exceptional events – for easy finding and evaluation.
2) Recorded Event
- When an event is triggered, an audio sounds to alert the driver
- This is to alert the driver that he/she drove outside the parameters set on the MDVR and activated the MDVR to record the special event - and remind the driver to avoid repeating that action
- All event files are saved onto the MDVR hard drive
3) Evaluation
- The IVSE iwitness then allows fleet managers to evaluate the special events recorded, through very easy to use IVSE iwitness software; containing audio, video and vehicle data.
4) Driver improvement
- IVSE iwitness allows fleet managers to consistently and effectively support their drivers according to the safe driving policies within their workplace
